Good worms, believe it or not, are hard to find. To succeed as bait they must be healthy and, depending on the type of fish one’s after, appropriately sized. Trout like a smaller worm, while bass prefer ones that are larger. That’s why some fishermen raise their own worms and others order live worms in bulk.
