Get comfortable together in the wilderness. There are hundreds of camping opportunities in Northern California—the Bay Area alone has Angel Island, Point Reyes, Mount Diablo, and the Portola Redwoods, to name a few locations. For optimum privacy, stay away from the National Parks, which tend to be overcrowded during warm weather. Colder weather is more romantic, anyway.
