In Arabic "Sunnah" means path or way. The Sunnah and the Holy Quran are the two pillars that form the basis of Islam. Together, they indicate the path, way, and laws of Allah. While the Quran is the word of Allah, the Sunnah comprises the words, actions, and approvals of the Prophet Muhammad as inspired by Allah.
