What could be more dispiriting than coming home to your parents’ house after a hard day, sneaking up to your old room (college pennants still hanging limply from the walls), and turning on the TV only to find nothing but re-runs of Gilligan’s Island? If they’re home for the long haul, cable TV service will make their durance a little less vile. If they already have cable, enhance it with premium services like HBO and Showtime.
