Something happens when a large object is rendered in miniature. It could be a plane, a boat, or even a tank. Whatever the object, though, it assumes new appeal in smaller form. Yet modelers often don’t get the respect they deserve. “Models are for kids,” people say. Fortunately for the rest of us, most modelers are too obsessed with their latest projects to pay attention to such comments.
