Yoku Moku Holiday Cinq Delices
What it is: A festive tin of rich, all-natural butter cookies from the Japanese confectioner Yoku Moku.
Why we love it: The light and buttery taste of a Yoku Moku cookie is like no other. Spread holiday cheer with this collectible tin of Cinq Delices cookies. The tin is decorated with original artwork made exclusively for Yoku Moku by Clyv, a featured artist at the Galerie Paris. Each year Clyv produces new artwork for Yoku Moku holiday tins. The tins themselves are thus collectible items. The delicious cookie assortment includes Cigare, Double chocolat au lait, Bateau de macadamia, thin butter-vanilla based confections doubled over with slivered almonds on top, and shortbread-style confections. Each one individually wrapped in holiday theme. The name Yoku Moku comes from JOKK MOKK, a quaint village on the Arctic Circle, 500 miles North of Stockholm, Sweden. The founder, Noriichi Fujinawa was so impressed with the beauty of the village and the heart of the people, he borrowed the name for his company. Yoku Moku is one of the most popular gift items in Japan.
Who we'd give it to: A wonderful gourmet treat for your holiday host/hostess or as a family gift for all to enjoy. Be sure to get a box for yourself, too!
Where to get it: From Satinbox for a sweet $39.00.
