Window Art Paints
What it is: A set of special paints designed to (temporarily) turn your windows into a colorful wonderland.
Why we love it: Now firmly ensconced in January, we have to acknowledge that the weather is going to be lousy for a while. What's worse is that we're in California, where the winters are relatively mild, in other parts of the country it's downright impossible to leave the house. The trouble always becomes, of course, what to do while stuck inside. Sure, the invention of the internet has helped a lot with this, but it's just not a good idea to spend all day on the computer, and particularly for kids. For the little ones, and for the sanity of the parents, it's important to have some new projects to work on during the wintry months. Klutz window art is a great solution for the next couple of snowy or rainy days. These colorful puffy paints can be used right on the window, and peeled off any time. Create your own stained glass effects to hide the grey day outside. They're so much fun they might even make an appearance during the summer time.
Who we'd give it to: The Crafty, The Snowbound, Parents, and Kids.
Where to get it: Fom Spilsbury for a decorative $19.95
