Two-Faced Watch
What it is: A dual-sided watch that tells time in two zones.
Why we love it: Traveling can often be a disorienting experience, you're in a new place, jetlagged, tired from your travels and lugging off to some hotel. Chances are, any frequent flier you know, especially those poor brave souls who have to do a lot of business travel, has a story of arriving at the airport three hours early, or two hours late, because of time zone confusion. They can never remember if they reset their watch the night before they left, or in the cab, or did they plan to do it on the plane? Yes, time, subjective as it is, can get pretty muddled for the traveler. They've got travelers watches out there, but a lot of them are far too confusing and complicated to give to someone under the influences of jetlag ("Let's see, push this button twice to display Pacific time, and this button for Atlantic is it daylight savings?"). The Face 2 Face watch couldn't be simpler, there's one watch face on each side, a black and a white, so that one can be worn on the outside of the wrist and one on the inside. It's so easy even a beleagured traveler can remember it, white is home, black is away, or vice versa. It's easy enough for a 5 year old to understand, which, considering the drain on intelligence that traveling can be, is probably for the best.
Where to get it: From The MoMA Store for $125.00
