Why we love it:
What could be cooler than the blues? This is a must-have set for any music lover. Blues artist, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and producer, Jerry Harrison (ex-Talking Heads), produced it. They took to the back roads of the South with all their gear and searched out blues artists both obscure (the late guitarist Etta Baker, who plays in her kitchen, is a highlight) and better known (Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown and B.B. King) for a series of acoustic and electric jams. Six artists from this project have passed away since the making of this CD/DVD so this gem is truly a piece of music history.
