What it is:
A sleek, modern answer to single cup tea brewing.
Why we love it:
We like to enjoy a nice pot of tea from time to time, chamomile, Earl Grey, whatever tickles our fancy. We're no tea experts, but we do enjoy an occasional spot of tea (as they say in England, where they really know about tea). One problem we've noticed, however, as we started to take tea a bit more seriously, is that it is awfully inconvenient to have just one cup of tea. It's easy to brew a pot, but if you're drinking alone a pot may seem excessive. A teabag may be fine for the philistines, but if you know a serious tea drinker you know that they frown on such things. A teabag is for the masses, the true aficionado drinks only loose tea. They do have those little tea balls, of course, but trying to use those is a bit of a challenge, we're forever getting tea all over ourselves and last time we needed pliers to get it open. The Teastick is the next generation in single cup brewing, the screen slides back to reveal a scoop inside with which you can scoop up tea just as easy as you please. Slip the screen back in place and drop it in the water and you're brewing in no time. More than functionality, the Teastick just looks slick, no doubt it will be the talk of the teahouse.
