Why we love it:
Now that we're in the full swing of summer, we're enjoying our chance to get out in the sun. Backpacking trips, days at the beach, and whitewater rafting all abound as the long, lazy days of sun stretch on. This year, as ever year, we're accosted by a host of I Wish I Hads. I Wish I Hads are devious little gremlins that pop up when some trifling little thing doesn't go quite as planned and it occurs to you in a flash, the perfect object to solve this problem, if only it existed. We've come up with dozens of brilliant inventions over the years, many of which turned out to be impractical in the long run, and some few of which turned out to have already been invented by other people. This most recent cool gift is the latter, as we have remarked several times (particularly at the beach), "man, I wish I had a pair of sandals I could store stuff in." When trotting around the beach in our suit, we've often remarked on the lack of places to put keys, cash, etc. We don't really want to tote a whole bag around everywhere we go, but there are certain things you'd like to have on you.
