Why we love it:
We like modern. We're high tech people, for the most part. We've got an iPod, and various other hip gadgets, and we like them. As much as we like our space-age tech though, we do have a certain love for that swingin' retro vibe. Speck, who brought us the adorable
iGuy, have come up with a meeting of retro swing and modern gadget that will please just about any hi-fi, high tech audiophile. The SpeckTone has a fabulous mid-century modern green exterior and a high gloss wooden front. The inner workings are all analogue, to give a richer, warmer sound, which the real audio geeks will love, and the dock accepts most types of iPods, which will make the gadget geek happy. It's a stereo system for just about every kind of geek, plays great music and looks great doing it.
