Smiley Necklace

What it is: A pendant or charm with a classic text smiley imprinted on it.

Why we love it: There's no avoiding it, whether you're a computer user or nor, smileys have become part of our lexicon. Oh, you can get fancy smileys that are full color, move and dance and perform tricks, but the original smiley was nothing more than a colon-dash-parentheses arranged like so: :-). Oh sure, the smiley that blows kisses or sticks out his tongue, or does the Macarena is cute, but we're a fan of the classic, text smileys and their very simple charm. Sweet Tooth has managed to capture that simple charm in jewelry, providing us with pendants (also keychains, bracelets and charms) that replicate those classic smileys (and the winking one, the kissing one, the surprised one and a whole host more). It's a unique gift to show how you feel about someone, let them display the mood of the moment, or communicate their personality (we like the devil smiley for that), and there's no denying it's retro tech charm.
