What it is:
A set of pencils with a variety of deliciously sweet scents.
Why we love it:
Never, in the history of mankind, has the following phrase been uttered: "Oh goody, let's take some notes." There's a good reason for this, really several, first and foremost being that note taking is deadly dull, and furthermore no one wants to look like the sort of compulsive goody-two-shoes who enjoys taking notes. Whether in the school room or the board room, no one loves note taking, and there's precious little that can make it entertaining. Smencils, while not particularly suited for more sober occasions, do make scribbling out a few notes more of a fun time. For the office, the big girl set comes in a more adult palette of Cinnamon, Peppermint, Hazelnut Latte, Orange, Cookie Dough and for the little girls (or those with simpler tastes) we have; Chocolate Milk, Grape, Bubble Gum, Cherry and Root Beer. Gourmet scented pencils can't make note taking magically fun, but at least they can take the edge of, and feed that afternoon sweet craving as well.
