What it is:
A modular set of wooden toys with limitless possibilities.
Why we love it:
Building toys should not be limited to a set of blueprints and instructions. Sure, it's fun to put together the little car, house, or gadget that you've got the parts for, but it loses its shine after the first couple of times you do it. So, we vastly prefer toys like this quirky little set, which is a great jumble of parts that can be arranged in whatever form suits your fancy. You've got 3 heads, 3 hats, 2 bodies, 4 arms, 6 legs, 40 connectors, a piece of felt and a tail. You can assemble these friendly wooden fellows on their pet elephant, or anything else you can dream up. The Simsalabim set is limited by nothing smaller than a child's (or hey, an adult's) imagination, and can be reassembled in countless fanciful and fun ways. Kids can tell tall tales with their little wooden friends, as many as they can think up.
