What it is:
Electric shoe dryers that plug in, slide into your shoes and blow them dry with warm air.
Why we love it:
Fall is here, and the weather is turning cold and rainy, or so we're told. It's still quite balmy here in California, but we understand that in other parts of the world, autumn is accompanied by chill winds and torrential downpours. We are told of chattering teeth and soggy feet and other things we don't really understand. It all sounds terribly unpleasant, and we do sympathize, we really do. The soggy feet sound particularly bad, and we're concerned that you might all catch a cold. If you're looking for a gift to chase away the winter blues, we like these clever little shoe dryers. They've got a hip, mod design that's straight out of Scandinavia, a place where they really know about cold, wet feet. If you're buying for someone who will be slogging through the snow, slush, sleet and other things we don't have in California, consider the gift that keeps on giving; warm, dry feet.
Who we'd give it to:
Pacific Northwesterners, fisherman, the chilly, the soggy and the frigid.
