RC Wall Climber
What it is: A radio-controlled car that can tool around on the ground or drive straight up the walls.
Why we love it: We feel that the world of RC toys has gotten a bit, well, we hate to say this, stale. There's only so many different kinds of tiny monster trucks, boats, planes and more that can be made before they all start looking more or less the same. Certainly they've gotten a bit more high-tech since we were a kid, but ultimately it's the same little rubber wheels and tiny, rumbling engine. So, we went out looking for something new, because we like RC cars, and lo and behold we have found it. The Zero-Gravity RC Wall Climber quite literally goes where no RC car has gone before, straight up. Powerful vacuum suction allows this clever little gadget to climb right up the walls and troll around, nimbly dodging obstacles by heading up just about any flat, vertical surface. Don't worry, the soft treads are extra gentle, and won't leave scuffs or sticky residue behind. It's a clever gadget, a less ordinary toy, and for a RC fan, an excellent gift.
Who we'd give it to: Kids, teen boys, RC fans, people with vast amounts of wall space.
Where to get it: From Walmart for a gravity-defying $59.97
