What it is:
The classic game of Monopoly gets a modern upgrade, complete with ATM cards.
Why we love it:
Monopoly is a game with a rich and long history, having been around in some form or another for more than a hundred years. We'll never entirely get why real estate trading can be so much fun, but the fact remains that it is. We get just as excited as the next guy when someone lands on our Park Place (with a hotel!), and somehow what seems, on the surface to be a dry financial exchange tastes like the sweetest of victories. We may not get it, but there is unquestionably something enduring about the Monopoly experience, and with the latest version, it's even updated for the modern age. Yep, say goodbye to fiddly little Monopoly money, now your cash is stored on an ATM card, just like the real world, and the "bank" is a special reader. This isn't the only overhaul the game has gotten, the spaces and places have gotten a modernizing makeover as well. The game play is still the same, it's just a modern twist on a very classic idea.
