Matchstick Garden

What it is: A book of ten cardboard matchsticks that have ready-to-grow seeds embedded on each tip.

Why we love it: Planting a mini garden has never been so easy! Simply insert a seeded matchstick into soil, add water and sunlight, and watch your garden grow. There are two styles of Matchstick Garden available, either four herbs or wildflower seeds already mixed on the end of each matchstick. The Mixed Herb Matchstick Garden contains basil, chives, parsley, and thyme. The Wildflower Matchstick Garden contains cornflower, Shasta daisy, corn marigold, and field poppy.

Who we'd give it to: The Matchstick Garden would make a fun (and lightweight) gift to send to a faraway friend that loves flowers or cooking with herbs. It also makes a great garden-themed party favor.
