What it is:
A hilarious and simple card game of creating faux newspaper headlines.
Why we love it:
What with today's newspapers being so sensationalist, it might be a little hard to separate entries into this game, Man Bites Dog, from the latest real news about Branjelina's baby or who did what to whom in DC. It's hard to parody the press when the press is so funny already. That being said, there's still certainly fun to be had with this simple and irreverent game. Players are dealt cards that each bear a chunk of a headline, and have to combine them together to create sensational and thoroughly silly headlines. He with the most points, or possibly with the most laughs, wins. It's a little bit word game, a little bit card game, and a little bit social satire, a combination that anyone can enjoy. This game goes best with a cocktail or two, and tends to get sillier by the second. They may not win a Pulitzer, but they'll certainly have a great time trying.
