Cool Gift of the Day

What it is:
A clock radio that changes pre-set radio stations by moving the silver ball on top around the grid.
Why we love it:
Sometimes we like a gift because it's fun, sometimes we like it because it's useful, sometimes we like it because it's luxurious; then occasionally we come across a gift that just randomly tickles us. We can't explain precisely what it is we like so much about the memory ball clock, we just know it's fascinating. It functions, mostly, like an everyday alarm clock, the difference is in the little silver ball that sits in the grid on top. You can pick up the ball anytime, and move it to another spot on the grid, each spot corresponds to a pre-set radio station, so moving the ball changes the channel. Don't ask us how it works, we have no idea, we just know that it's clever and fun to play with. It's a gift that really needs no particular reason or explanation, it's simply and object of general niftiness, and that's good enough for us.
Who we'd give it to:
Gadget lovers, computer geeks, people who have to get up in the morning.
