What it is:
The world of computers can be so sterile and dull. It's filled with all that grey plastic and black nylon ergonomic devices that look like something off the starship Enterprise. This was all well and good while the world of computers was populated mostly by geeks who liked everything looking sci-fi, but now that the rest of us are online and on computers, it's time to branch out. If you've got a computer user in your life who could use a bit of beauty and relaxation to go with their computing, look no further than the lavender mouse pad. Made from lovely peacock print fabric and filled with flax seed and lavender, this wrist rest is truly spiffy. It cradles their wrist while they surf the net and it smells good too. A wonderful way to remind the less technologically inclined that not everything about computers has to be alien and uncomfortable. Lavender is also a wonderful treatment for stress, so this could even be a nice gift for that overworked programmer in your life.
Why we love it:
It's about time someone started exploring the softer side of computer peripherals.
Who we'd give it to:
Computer-phobes, moms, stressed-out computer users, anyone who appreciates beautiful versions of everyday things.
Where to get it:
From
Greenfeet for a relaxing $11.50
