Hilariously funny satires of the usual country guides written for travelers.
Why we love it:
No matter how well traveled you are, it's likely that there are parts of the world you've missed. You might, for example, have overlooked the tiny European country of Molvania, or the exotic eastern paradise of Phaic Tan. You may be unfamiliar with the fascinating Molvanian Sneezing Hound or the unique duck recipes of the Phaic Tanese people. You may be unfamiliar with them, of course, because along with being exotic and strange, they're entirely fictional. The Jetlag Travel guides are a hilarious satire or traditional country guides that many frequent travelers know and love (or loathe). They're full of so many of the classic travel guide clichés that it could easily be mistaken for the real thing. If you give this to one of your friends with serious wanderlust, make sure you tell them it's a joke before they start trying to book cheap tickets to these exotic new locales.
