What it is:
A large, sturdy umbrella with a clear plastic handle and tip that light up.
Why we love it:
Soon the cold, grey days of winter will be making way for the wet, dreary days of early spring. Oh sure, April showers bring May flowers, but the trouble is you have to wait through April showers to get them. Some people do like the occasional grey and rainy day, but even aficionados of the rain need a trusty umbrella to keep the chill out of their bones and the rain off their backs. Umbrellas are a dime a dozen (or perhaps a bit more expensive, but our point is that they're easy to come by), but an ordinary umbrella is just so, ordinary. To brighten a grey, rainy day, and light the way safely for your favorite pedestrian, consider picking up one of these illuminated umbrellas. The clear plastic handle lights up to brighten the darkness, or flashes to warn oncoming cars of a pedestrian in the road. All this while keeping the rain off your head as well, not a bad performance from a humble umbrella.
