What it is:
A home science kit with everything you need to create your own tiny holograms.
Why we love it:
We know what you're missing. Moreover, we know what your geeky buddy, brother, coworker or friend is missing. We know, because we're geeky, and we're missing this, at least, we are now that we know it exists. We have no idea how we've managed to struggle through life without the ability to make our own holograms, but we're blessedly relieved to discover that time is finally at an end. We generally tend to think of holograms as something made by... well, some kind of very expensive machine, we're hazy on the exact details, but these holograms are ones you can make at home. The kit is remarkably easy to use, it's best to have darkness, and no movement, but even imperfect conditions will result in a fairly realistic static hologram. The kit includes enough materials to create 20 fabulous little holograms, which can be displayed on the hologram rig whenever you please. We may not have our flying cars, or our jet-packs, but at least one of our sci-fi dreams has finally come true.
