Heart Notecards
What it is: A set of twelve blank greeting cards featuring unique photos of heart-shaped items found in everything from a pothole to a break in the clouds.
Why we love it: There is beauty and wonder all around us if we just take the time to really see it. Artist and photographer, Rick Ruggles, first noticed a heart-shaped pothole while taking pictures in the fall of 2000. He was inspired by that image and began seeing hearts in all sorts of places - in a water droplet on a parked car, in a break in the clouds, in a scrawl of graffiti. His collection now numbers over 2,000, and he has selected some of his very best images for this set of unique greeting cards perfect for any occasion.
Who we'd give it to: These cards would make a unique Valentine or gift for an artist, photographer, or anyone who appreciates beautiful things.
Where to get it: From Uncommongoods.com for a lovely $16.00.
