What it is:
A pair of beautiful copper bowls to hold change and loose items, inscribed with a romantic sentiment.
Why we love it:
There are small objects in our lives or in the lives of the people we love that we pay no attention to whatsoever. They do their daily duty (whatever it may be) largely ignored by their owner, they are ordinary, utilitarian. At Surprise.com, we hate those objects; or rather, we feel sorry for them, and want to see them replaced by something that does a job and makes you smile. A perfect example of these ignored and ignorable little objects is the dish you keep your change in (or jewelry, or what have you). It soldiers on, proudly, uh, holding things, completely ignored other than to occasionally be cursed for failing to produce quarters. It may seem strange to inject a little romance into your change bowl, but we say, why the heck not? These cunning copper bowls (which fit together to make a cunning copper orb) are lined with blue porcelain and painted with "To Have" and "To Hold". It's an accurate description of their use, and a touching sentiment. You can't ask for much more than that.
