Grass Armchair
What it is: A cardboard form on which you can grow your own grass-covered armchair.
Why we love it: Who doesn't love a chance to lie out on the lawn and enjoy the fresh air? The spring breeze, the smell of newly mown grass, the stick that's poking you in the back... Ok, that part we don't love. You can always lie in a lawn chair, we suppose, but that just seems so ordinary, not to mention it sort of defeats the point of enjoying the lawn. The solution is surprisingly elegant and surprisingly made of cardboard. Nucleo's grass armchair provides a cardboard chair form to fill with soil and sprinkle with grass seeds, set it up on your lawn, water it a bit and in a few weeks you've got your own Chia furniture. It's a far superior solution to ordinary plastic or wooden lawn chairs, blending seamlessly into the environment and creating a whimsical (and comfortable) look for the back yard. The die cut cardboard fits seamlessly together to create the base and then water and sun do the rest. Think of it as mother nature's Ikea.
Where to get it: From Fitzsu for a grassy $115.00
