Grandma
What it is: Homemade chicken soup just like Bubby (Yiddish for grandma) used to make.
Why we love it: As the crisp fall air turns to winter's chill, a steaming bowl of hot soup can do wonders for the soul. Why not warm someone's heart (and stomach!) by sending a little love in the form of chicken soup. Founded by a brother and sister, Grandma's Chicken Soup is made from scratch using their grandmother's original recipe. This golden elixir is loaded with carrots, celery, onion, and white chicken meat and is simmered to perfection. Noodles and/or matzo balls are optional. There are a wide variety of packages to choose from including, "Just Soup" which contains a half-gallon (serves 4-6) of soup to a "Once-a-Month" soup package.
Who we'd give it to: A loved one or friend who may be under the weather or feeling a little low. Grandma’s Chicken Soup also makes a great gift for college students who are far from home.
Where to get it: From Grandmaschickensoup.com starting at a comforting $29.50.
