Diamond Binky
What it is: A pacifier made of solid white gold, encrusted with diamonds.
Why we love it: So, say you're getting a baby gift for the new Crown Prince of Monoco, and you simply have no idea what his mommy and daddy (their highnesses) might like. Or you're going to visit the new infant daughter of the Duke of Luxembourg, and feel you must bring a gift more opulent than the pearl encrusted blankie from the Princess of Lichtenstein. It can be tough buying gifts for the tiniest members of the international jet set, and something truly spectacular is required. Something like this sold gold, diamond encrusted pacifier from It's My Binky. Truly, a gift for the most discerning of infants. The little prince will be drooling at the sight of this binky, well, the little prince will definitely be drooling, anyway, maybe you need a platinum drool cup to go along.
Ok, ok, it's a little ridiculous. Check that, it's a lot ridiculous, but we're glad we found it, because it led us to It's My Binky's adorable line of personalized and custom pacifiers (which come in at a far more reasonable $5-$7). You can get one printed with baby's name, or with some of their cute stock phrases (We like "Got Milk?"), and customize with either a latex or silicone tip. It may not be quite as bling as the diamond pacifier, but it's probably a better gift for any baby who isn't the crown prince of something.
Who we'd give it to: Well, no one sensible, really, but we suppose the regular binkies might make a nice gift for New Babies and for Baby Showers.
Where to get it: From It's My Binky for a conspicuously consuming $17,000.00
