Corporate Flashcards
What it is: A set of tongue-in-cheek flashcards designed to teach you all the corporate buzzwords.
Why we love it: This morning, we were actualizing our goals and growing our market share (okay, we were mostly actualizing a muffin, but it was a very tasty muffin), and it occurred to us that we needed to be more goal-oriented in our approach to bringing gift ideas to the public. We felt that we needed to streamline, to start using best practices, and of course, without a doubt, we needed to think outside the box. We have thus resolved to smartsize our reviews, bringing you only the most bleeding edge products in strategic, and results-driven format.
Got no idea what we just said there? That's okay, neither do we. Corporate slang is hard to keep up with, and ultimately we're not even sure why you'd want to (other than winning at Buzzword Bingo). If your VP is having another meeting filled with the latest and greatest in technical nonsense, you may find some education, or at least some laughs, from these flashcards. Complete with definition, illustration, and use of the piece of execu-babble in a sentence, these cards tell you everything you need to know to understand what the heck your boss is talking about and possible even why. There's no guarantee, of course, that your boss will make any more sense than he did before, but at least now you'll know what he thinks he means when he says "quality vector".
Who we'd give it to: The Self-Employed (so they can understand the joke), The Over Employed (for a little venting humor), The Recently Promoted (so they can learn the lingo).
Where to get it: From Abernook for a strategic $16.00
