Constructive Eating Utensil Set
What it is: A set of starter utensils for young children that resemble a bulldozer, forklift, and front loader.
Why we love it: These cleverly designed utensils engage young children and help them learn to hold and use utensils. There is a bulldozer pusher that replaces little fingers for pushing food around the plate, a forklift fork, and a front loader spoon. In addition to encouraging tots to use utensils, they are also useful for getting them to try new foods or to occupy them at restaurants so parents can eat. The utensils are PVC-free, phthalate-free plastic and have easy grip handles.
Who we'd give it to: Parents with children ages 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years old.
Where to get it: From Amazon.com for a playful $17.14.
