What it is:
A nice, big tablecloth with dots of chalkboard material to decorate.
Why we love it:
As soon as we saw this tablecloth the possibilities began forming in our minds. There are so many ways you can use chalkboard patches on your table! Why had we never thought of this before? It's a hip, funky way to assign seating, let your guest know about the menu, or just decorate with sketches or poetry. Or, perhaps, even better, serve your meal with a healthy side order of chalk and let your guests decorate on their own.
At first glance you might think this was suitable for a kids party and we have no doubt that youngsters would enjoy it, but don't discount the fun of this for very grown-up shindigs. Never underestimate the value of a little bit of whimsy and chalk at even the most stylish dinner party. This tablecloth can create an artsy, modern atmosphere as easily as it can create a silly, fun atmosphere, and either of those sound like a cool time to us.
