What it is:
A board game that's all about who arguest loudest, longest and best.
Why we love it:
We like to argue. We admit it, we make no excuses nor apologies for it, we are arguers. We will argue over the next American Idol or Top Model, we will argue over the relative properties of beer ("less filling", we feel, rather than "tastes great"), we will argue over what to argue about if given half the chance, and we'll have a good time doing it. You may call us contrary, but we believe we're simply devoted debaters, committed to the process of finding the right of any dispute, no matter how terribly, thoroughly minor. If you're in the market for a gift for someone who has that gift of pigheaded stubbornness, that love of a good fight (or a bad one) then no doubt they'll take to this game like a very argumentative fish to water. Argue! is a party game that pits two players against each other in an extremely important debate (like whether Mary Poppins or Judge Judy would win in a fight), and leaves it to the other players to judge the winner. Best to give this to your friends who are disagreeable but not violent, nothing spoils a party game like a fistfight, but as long as you can find the right sort of pacifistic (or cowardly) arguers it should make for a good time.
