Cool Gift of the Day

What it is:
Which is the most cheerful: Richard Nixon, Dirty Socks, or The Boston Philharmonic Orchestra? We're inclined to say Richard Nixon, but it's really up to you. At least, it's up to you when you play Apples to Apples, the fabulous game where everyone scrambles to come up with the best match. It may sound a little odd, but we can assure that this is one of those gifts that ends up being the surprise hit of the party. Apples to Apples is one of those rare and wonderful games that is equally fun for a 40 year old or a nine year old and is simple enough to get trotted out just about any time you're in the mood for a game. Apples to Apples isn't one of those games that gets relegated to the back of the closet and dragged out only after several rainy days in a row, it's a game that gets well-used, well-loved and well-played in no time at all.
Why we love it:
There's nothing like a good spirited debate over whether 'True Love' or 'Baked Beans' are more 'healthy'.
Who we'd give it to:
Families, board game enthusiasts, college students, party hosts, anyone who's quick with a simile.
Where to get it:
From
uToypia for a cheerful, or possibly healthy $22.35
